Job summary

A logistics company in Selangor is looking for a candidate to manage import and export operations. Responsibilities include shipment arrangement, document preparation, and liaising with forwarders and customs. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Business Administrative or a related field and has at least 2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with an interest in international trade are also encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills are essential for dealing with overseas suppliers and customers.

Job description
Responsibilities

1) Responsible for Import & Export shipment arrangement & documents preparation.

2) Assisting for Sales Tax Exemption Application & reports.

3) Responsible for local & export operations which including liaise with forwarder agents, shipping liners, haulage, custom clearance for Import & Export.

4) To liaise with Warehouse personnel and forwarder for arrangement of container upon receiving & return.

5) To liaise with supplier on delivery schedule/shipment arrangement requirements and sample request arrangement.

6) To prepare internal record/report related to Import & Export products.

7) Liaise with Government Authority on related import & export documents enquiry & application.

8) To handle in procurement of Trading items and office grocery.

9) To assist Company to perform ad hoc duties as and when necessary.

Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in any discipline, preferably in Business Administrative/Logistic / Supply Chain or equivalent

Preferable with at least 2 years working experience in handling import & export document preparation.

Fresh graduates with a strong interest in International Trade are welcome to apply.

Team player, independent, good problem-solving and organization skills.

Excellent communication skills and customer oriented.

Able to communicate in different language in order to communicate to suppliers/ customers from oversea.

Ability to multi-tasks under tight time frames with minimum supervision.
