Job summary

A logistics and shipping company in Malaysia is looking for a Quality Management Specialist. Responsibilities include managing shipping documents, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance, and maintaining customer focus. The ideal candidate should have at least an SPM qualification, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Excel and Word. Qualifications

• Minimum with SPM qualification.
• 1-2 years working experience is an added advantage.
• Computer literate especially in Excel and Word.

• Check all shipping documents for compliance.
• Liaise with forwarders and shipping agents.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Report on Quality Management System performance.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements.

Job description

To check all shipping documents i.e. L/C, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of lading, Insurance, etc.

To apply Form A, Form D and K2 with MITI, Certificate of Origin with either MITI or MICCI and CJs with custom.

To liaise and follow up with Forwarder and Shipping Agent for all related shipping documents for both import and export.

To coordinate with store on transportation arrangement for delivery of cargos to Port, KLIA and Jetty.

To ensure Jaya Nets Sdn Bhd's existing QMS System complies with ISO 9001 requirements.

To ensure delivering of job performance meet planned output (e.g.: meet department quality objective target, achieve job efficiency or production output target, continual improvement activities if any & etc.)

Reporting on the performance of Quality Management System and on Opportunities For Improvement to the superior (e.g.: Internal Quality Audit, Quality Objective, Risk assessment analysis & etc.)

To make awareness of customer focus throughout the organization such as customer feedback, customer complaint & etc.

To ensure the integrity of the Quality Management System is maintained when changes to the Quality Management System are planned & implemented.

Authority

To give instruction and confirm details with forwarder and shipping agents.

Competency

Minimum Education: Minimum with SPM qualification

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years working experience is an added advantage.

Computer literate especially in Excel and Words programmers.

Pleasant personality with good communication skills.
