First Air Sales & Services Engineering Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of air conditioning and refrigeration services, is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Assistant Engineer to join our growing team. This full‑time position is based in Shah Alam, Selangor, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the company's continued success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, coordination, and implementation, including preparation of progress updates and reports.
• Lead, instruct, and monitor technicians and subcontractors to ensure work follows the project schedule.
• Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions to ensure compliance with design and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, coordinate daily activities, and resolve site issues to maintain the project timeline.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on all technical matters and ensure timely issuance and updates of construction drawings.
• Attend site meetings and prepare required documentation or follow‑ups.
• Ensure all safety measures and site safety practices are implemented at all times.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in the HVAC industry, preferably in an assistant engineer role.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
