Job description

As an HR Senior Executive / Assistant Manager at R E & S Enterprises (M) Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in driving the company's human resources initiatives across a range of areas, including remuneration, benefits, and employee engagement. This position requires sound judgment, empathy, and integrity in supporting both business needs and employee well‑being.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage the end‑to‑end compensation and benefits administration, including payroll processing, benefits enrolment, and policy implementation
  • Prepare, review, and issue HR and employment letters, including offer, confirmation, disciplinary, expatriate‑related, and resignation letters.
  • Handle resignation and exit processes, including clearance and final payroll.
  • Oversee employee welfare and benefits administration (medical, insurance, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, claims).
  • Manage expatriate administration, including contracts, onboarding, payroll coordination, and work permit/visa applications, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Advise line managers on staff disciplinary and employee relations matters, ensuring due process and compliance with labour laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Support HR audits, statutory reporting, and compliance matters.
  • Provide HR advisory services to business leaders, offering guidance on employee relations, performance management, and other HR‑related matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support the HR team and guide junior HR staff in various administrative and project‑based tasks as needed.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in payroll and HR operations.
  • Strong experience in staff disciplinary handling and employee relations.
  • Hands‑on experience in expatriate management (work permits/visas).
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and statutory requirements.
  • Able to work independently, handle confidential matters, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR/payroll systems.
  • Experience in F&B / Retail or multi‑outlet operations is an added advantage.
