Responsibilities
- Support overall HR functions and daily HR operations
- Identify training needs and coordinate onboarding, safety, equipment handling, soft skills, and supervisory training programs.
- Manage training calendars, attendance tracking, evaluation, and all documentation including HRDC applications and claims.
- Coordinate with internal trainers or external training providers to ensure effective program delivery.
- Support employee engagement activities, team-building events, and recognition programs across shifts and locations.
- Manage foreign worker–related matters including permit renewals and disciplinary issues.
- To assist in development and on-going improvement of HR policies and procedures according to local legislation and regional guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and company HR policies.
- Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and exit processes.
- Support HR reporting and analysis for management.
- Participate in and handle compliance audits, including customer audits, ISO audits, and internal audits, ensuring timely documentation and corrective actions.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands on HR experience. Experience in a logistics environment will be an added advantage.
- Legal knowledge: Familiarity with Malaysian labor laws and HR practices to ensure compliance and fair treatment of employees.
- Character: Strong integrity, positive attitude, good work ethics, and the ability to work well with people.
