A leading cinema operator in Penang is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and payroll. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a generalist HR role, familiarity with Malaysia's employment laws, and good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. The role supports attendance management, performance appraisals, and compliance with company policies. This positions offers benefits such as EPF, SOCSO, and performance-based bonuses.
Handle full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and staff records
Manage attendance, leave, and employee database
Prepare HR reports and documentation
Assist in performance appraisal and training coordination
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role
Familiar with Malaysia employment laws and basic HR practices
Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus)
Organized, responsible, and able to work independently
Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
