Our Client is a versatile engineering firm that specializes in diverse scopes such as piling, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical works. With a robust portfolio, they collaborate with both local and international investors to deliver projects in industrial buildings, logistics hubs, energy plants, and structural steel fabrication, aligning their expertise with the demands of modern infrastructure development.

Due to rapid expansion, they have a new role available in the Kuala Lumpur HQ - Head of Engineering.

This role covers M&E coordination, value engineering, and cost optimization—all critical for securing and delivering industrial projects. Professional Engineer (Ir.) license needed.

The Role

The Head of Engineering will manage all engineering activities including Civil, Structural, Mechanical & Electrical (C&S, M&E) scopes with an emphasis on the industrial construction sector.

This position requires a Professional Engineer (Ir.) license in Malaysia and experience in industrial projects such as factories, warehouses, manufacturing plants, and heavy industrial facilities.

The candidate will oversee technical functions, M&E coordination, and initiatives aimed at optimizing costs and improving competitiveness in tendering and project execution. The Person

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
• Professional Engineer (Ir.) License for Civil and Structure with BEM (Board of Engineers Malaysia).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil & structural engineering, with exposure to M&E coordination.
• Proven experience in the industrial construction sector (factories, warehouses, manufacturing plants, and heavy industrial facilities).
• Strong background in value engineering, cost optimization, and commercial awareness for industrial projects.
