- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across corporate wellness, insurance partnerships, healthcare networks, and emerging healthcare verticals.
- Position the organisation as a reliable player in Malaysia's primary care and healthcare services sector.
Partnership & Deal Development
- Leverage an extensive healthcare network to engage government agencies, regulators, insurance providers, hospital groups, medical associations, and strategic partners.
- Secure partnerships, contracts, and commercial partnership through strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Deal structuring, contract negotiations, and setting frameworks that deliver long‑term value.
Business & Financial Management
- Demonstrate strong financial literacy, including P&L ownership, investment evaluation, business case development, and forecasting.
- Ensure that growth strategies are sustainable operating models and commercial viability.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimise revenue and cost efficiency.
Team Development
- Build high‑performing business development team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and commercial excellence.
- Work closely with senior management, clinical operations, and cross‑functional teams to drive strategic execution.
Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
- Navigate complex corporate environments and work effectively with management, board members, and investors.
- Communicate business plans, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Represent the organisation in key industry networks, forums, and government or regulatory engagement.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial – preferably within healthcare, insurance, primary care, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia’s healthcare landscape, including regulatory frameworks, operational models, and industry trends.
- Exceptional deal‑making skills with a proven track record in identifying, negotiating, and executing strategic partnerships.
- Strong strategic planning abilities, with a visionary mindset and hands‑on approach to execution.
- Advanced financial acumen (P&L, investments, forecasting, commercial modelling).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in a high‑growth, dynamic environment.
