To oversee and manage Group Procurement Department
JOB SUMMARY
The Head of Group Procurement will play a pivotal role in leading the procurement & project activities, which includes aviation and property division businesses; focusing on effective sourcing to achieve cost reduction, strengthening supplier base, and risk management for effective procurement decision making.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the Group's goals, ensuring a reliable supply chain and competitive cost structure.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and conditions, and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Cost Optimization: Continuously analyze cost structures, seek opportunities for cost reduction, and drive cost-effective procurement processes without compromising quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured materials and components comply with agreed specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Sustainability: Promote sustainable procurement practices, including eco-friendly materials.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place.
- Compliance & Integrity: Ensure procurement activities adhere to company SOPs, all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and to achieve high integrity level within the Procurement team and all vendors.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experiences: At least 10 years of experience in dealing with Cost and Contract matters, Facility Management and/or Aviation operations. Proven experience in a senior procurement role with a track record of strategic procurement and cost reduction. Possess strong hands-on procurement experience of direct and indirect materials. Robust understanding of strategic procurement, cost saving, price benchmarking & supplier development.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Personal Characteristics: Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Adaptable, creative, collaborative, and able to think strategically. Able to work under pressure, take initiative and manage and prioritize work independently.
