Qualifications

The Job

• The Furniture Design / Production Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end process of furniture design, product development, and manufacturing operations.
• To ensures that all furniture products meet design intent, quality standards, cost targets, and project timelines.
• To support retail fit-out, commercial, and bespoke furniture projects.

Responsibility

• Manage furniture design from concept, drawings, and samples to final production.
• Oversee daily factory production operations and production scheduling.
• Ensure products meet quality standards, design specifications, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams for smooth delivery and installation.
• Control production costs, materials, and wastage.
• Lead and supervise design, production, and carpentry teams.
• Resolve design, production, and quality issues effectively.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in furniture manufacturing or retail fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of furniture materials, joinery, and production processes.
• Able to read and prepare technical drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage).
• Good leadership, planning, and communication skills.
