A fire protection engineering company in Selangor is seeking a Tendering & Proposal Engineer to oversee the tender and proposal process for various fire protection system projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in tendering and estimation. Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and Malaysian fire codes is essential, as is proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD. This role offers opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic industry.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in tendering, estimation, or design for fire protection or M&E systems.
• Good knowledge of NFPA, UL/FM standards, and Malaysian fire codes.
• Ability to liaise with China Construction companies for technical and commercial clarification.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimations and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
• Prepare tender submissions (technical and commercial).
• Attend meetings for technical and commercial clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, UL/FM, and Malaysian fire protection standards.
• Coordinate with Sales team and handover to Project team upon award.
