A leading design and engineering firm in Subang Jaya is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all finance and accounting activities. This role involves ensuring compliance with Malaysian taxation, developing budgets, and leading the finance team. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in finance roles, with at least 2 years in management, and is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin/Cantonese. Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing, reporting, and statutory audits.
• Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including taxation (SST, WHT, corporate tax), audit, and regulatory filings.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management for decision-making.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, and working capital management.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Support business growth by providing strategic financial input on projects and investments.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting, Malaysian taxation, and compliance.
• Knowledge in AutoCount, Microsoft Excel and other related software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
• Languages: Must be able to communicate effectively with clients in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin/Cantonese.
