We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager who can oversee the company’s financial health while supporting strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate has a solid background in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, and is capable of leading a small finance team. This person should be comfortable handling both day-to-day accounting operations and long‑term financial planning, thriving in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of any discrepancies.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to aid strategic decision‑making.
• Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory bodies as needed.
• Develop, implement, and enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an added advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in accounting or finance.
• Prior experience in a Fintech or E‑commerce industry is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge in accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SQL Accounting Software).
• Meticulous with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
