Overview

Job Title: Financial Business Partner

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)

We are hiring to support the ASEAN business within BSI, working closely with the Senior APAC FP&A Manager, Corporate Finance, and key business stakeholders. This role delivers high-quality financial insight, supports strategic planning, and enables informed decision-making across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial planning and analysis for the ASEAN region, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic and commercial initiatives.
  • Monitor performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities with clear, actionable insight.
  • Partner with APAC FP&A teams to improve data quality, consistency, and reporting standards.
  • Prepare management reporting and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Support the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial information.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and propose mitigation actions or improvement ideas.
  • Provide ongoing support to Finance Business Partners and senior finance leaders.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, business analysis, or management accounting, ideally within a multinational environment.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel modelling skills.
  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting for multiple countries or business units.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into clear business insight.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders.
  • Experience using or learning finance systems and tools such as Hyperion (EPM), Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Business-level English (written and spoken).
