A leading environmental management company in Johor Bahru is seeking an Executive for Plant Cleaning & Coal Handling. This role involves overseeing cleaning operations, supporting coal handling activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related fields, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Strong coordination and communication skills are required. This position requires the ability to work in shifts and in outdoor environments.
Coordinate and monitor daily plant cleaning activities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with housekeeping standards.
Support and oversee coal handling operations including coal unloading, conveying, stacking, reclaiming, and dust control activities.
Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies, plant SOPs, and statutory requirements.
Assist in planning manpower deployment, work schedules, and daily task assignments.
Conduct site inspections, safety observations, and housekeeping audits; report findings and recommend corrective actions.
Liaise with Operations, Maintenance, HSE, and contractor teams to ensure smooth and coordinated plant operations.
Prepare and maintain operational reports such as daily activity logs, attendance records, safety reports, and incident reports.
Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract scope, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Support toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training programs for workers.
Assist in emergency response activities and ensure readiness during abnormal or emergency situations.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Industrial Operations, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in power plants, coal handling facilities, or heavy industrial environments.
Basic knowledge of coal handling systems, plant cleaning operations, and industrial housekeeping standards.
Good understanding of safety regulations, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
Strong coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
Able to work in shifts and outdoor environments when required.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
