Job summary

A leading higher education institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive Marketing for Student Recruitment & Admission. The role involves understanding academic programmes, processing admissions, enhancing student satisfaction, and participating in promotional events. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication skills in both Bahasa Melayu and English, and at least 1-2 years of relevant experience. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to student engagement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 – 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer literate.
• Experience in the education sector or higher learning institution is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Melayu and English (written and verbal).
• Demonstrates good teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Have a good understanding of all programmes offered and provide accurate information to students.
• Check and select eligible candidates to ensure they meet the entry requirements.
• Process daily admission tasks in accordance with the Admission Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Follow up with applicants who are pending (KIV), rejected, or did not attend registration.
• Handle enquiries and feedback promptly to enhance student satisfaction.
• Support marketing activities by participating in events and promotions both on and off campus.
• Prepare proposals, process purchases for marketing items, handle bookings and orders, and support general administrative tasks.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by campus management or the Chancellery office.
• Send invitations, reminders, and updates to students for engagement, pre-boarding, and important notifications.
