Job description

This role reports directly to the Unit Head of the Fund Administration Unit. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all Unit Trust operations run smoothly, including the timely processing of trades and transactions, as well as accurate and prompt system updates.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and oversee daily Unit Trust operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
  • Prepare and submit relevant reports to management, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
  • Reconcile daily cash balances, NAV positions, and investment holdings.
  • Ensure proper, accurate, and complete record-keeping and filing of all relevant documents.
  • Ensure the preparation and completion of Quarterly Reports, Interim Reports, and Annual Reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle all tax- and audit-related matters for the funds.
  • Manage distribution-related matters.
  • Continuously review and improve departmental processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Handle all matters ancillary to the above responsibilities.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the wealth and asset management industry at an established financial institution is an added advantage.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
