A prominent chemical company based in Johor is seeking an export sales professional. The successful candidate will drive sales performance, manage customer relationships in the polymer industry, and identify new market opportunities. Responsibilities include promoting new products, gathering market intelligence, monitoring accounts, and resolving complaints. Drive sales performance and achieve targets for assigned export markets.
Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers, primarily polymer product manufacturers.
Identify and develop new market opportunities to expand the company’s presence internationally.
Introduce and promote new products to targeted customer groups.
Gather and provide timely market intelligence, including customer trends and competitor activities, to support management in strategy and action plan development.
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on payments to ensure smooth shipment arrangements.
Handle customer enquiries, provide solutions, and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
Undertake other tasks or projects as assigned by superiors.
Tertiary qualification in a related field (Business, Marketing, International Trade, Chemical Engineering or equivalent).
Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
Candidate with one (1) year of experience in export sales or B2B sales, preferably dealing with manufacturers in chemicals, materials, packaging, or other industrial products (polymer industry experience is an advantage but not essential) has added advantage in shortlisting.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Positive, confident, and willing-to-learn approach.
Self-disciplined, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
