Job description

As the Executive Central Control Room (CCR) at Hume Cement Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial part in the company's manufacturing operations. This full-time position is based in Gopeng, Perak, and will involve overseeing the production planning and scheduling processes to ensure the efficient and effective running of the cement production facility.

What you'll be doing

Monitoring and controlling the cement production process from the central control room

Analysing production data and making adjustments to optimise output and efficiency

Coordinating with various departments to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and the dispatch of finished products

Identifying and troubleshooting any production issues or bottlenecks

Implementing production scheduling and planning to meet customer demand and production targets

Maintaining detailed production records and generating reports

Collaborating with the engineering team to optimise plant operations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar production planning and control role, preferably in the manufacturing or cement industry

Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling principles

Proficient in data analysis and interpreting production metrics

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
