A reputable firm in Malaysia is looking for an Accounting Assistant to assist with basic accounting tasks, clear backlogs in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and maintain proper documentation for audits. Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, while those with 1-2 years of experience will have an added advantage. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
Assist the General Ledger team with basic accounting tasks, including clearing and reconciling balance sheet items.
Assist the Credit team in clearing the backlog in Accounts Receivable Aging and the General Ledger accounts related to Accounts Receivable.
Assist the Accounts Payable team in clearing the backlog in Accounts Payable Aging and the General Ledger accounts related to Accounts Payable.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes.
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience will have an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with a positive working attitude.
