Job summary

A reputable industrial company in Malaysia is seeking a qualified candidate to prepare functional and technical specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and participate in BI tool development. Applicants should hold a degree in Computer Science with experience in SAP S4 HANA and reporting tools like Power BI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a good attitude and ability to work independently, are essential. Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field is mandatory.
• Experience in SAP S4 HANA is preferred.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI or Crystal Reports is an advantage.

Job description

Preparation of Functional/ Technical Specifications and system user’s guide for ad hoc proprietary developed software application.

Assist in technical feasibility study, evaluate and analyst user requirements, and recommend solutions.

Participate in BI and Reporting tools design, develop, maintenance and training on end user requirement.

Perform system and integration testing on the development.

Develop and maintain office portal for system support maintenance.

Encode, test, debug and document programs based on technical specifications.

Participate in relevant areas of System Development Life Cycle and project management cycle.

Perform project management role if required.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience or exposure in SAP S4 HANA.
• Reporting tools knowledge, e.g. Power BI or Crystal Report will be added advantages.
• Strong Logical, Analytical and Problem-Solving skill.
• Good attitude and able to work under minimum supervision.
• Experience managing consultants and external vendors.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
