Job summary

A semiconductor company located in Malaysia, Perak, is seeking a maintenance engineer to carry out equipment maintenance activities, optimize maintenance schedules, and reduce downtime. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering, with experience in equipment maintenance being a plus. Qualifications

Job description

• Carry out equipment maintenance activities for wafer bumping equipment
• Responsible to reduce equipment downtime and maximize machine availability
• Monitor equipment OEE, MTBA, MTBF and spare parts planning
• Involve in new equipment installation and setup
• Establish or improve machine preventive maintenance checklist and equipment FMEA
• Organize preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and optimize maintenance schedules
• Verification and analysis on defective part to determine the root cause and remedy
• Drive continuous improvement activities on the equipment and manpower needed
• Work on machine parameters, SECS GEM, FDC and system setup

Assembly and Test

• Perform improvement, development and sustaining of assembly equipment.
• To maintain the assembly line especially on preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and maintain assembly equipment in test production floor.
• To ensure that no major equipment breakdown.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
• Candidate with experience in equipment maintenance in semiconductor industry is an advantage.
