A leading engineering company in Malaysia is seeking an Engineer with a background in Mechatronics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation systems and machinery in various locations. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, the ability to work under pressure, and effective communication abilities in English. Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering fields.
Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in related industries; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Strong understanding of technical knowledge related to automation systems and machinery.
Relevant skills related to electrical circuit design, hands-on wiring, robotics, PC programming and PLC programming is an added advantage.
Familiar with safety protocols and engineering best practices.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Capable of working independently under pressure and leading on-site teams.
Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
Multi-lingual proficiency in Japanese, German, Thai and etc. Mandarin is an added advantage
Willing to travel and be stationed overseas for project durations ranging from 1 to 6 months.
Willing to travel internationally and work long hours when required.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide support for the installation, assembly, wiring, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of machine and system at both the company's factory and client sites.
Diagnose, attend to and resolve technical issues on-site in a prompt and professional manner.
Prepare, update and maintain accurate service and project reports, operational manual, maintenance checklist etc. in ensuring smooth communication and documentation.
Conduct structured training session for clients to ensure effective system operation and maintenance.
Ensure all projects are executed in accordance with established schedule and quality standards.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor in alignment with organizational objectives
Contributions to EPF, SOCSO, and EIS.
Minimum of 12 days annual leave, with additional leave granted based on seniority.
Company-provided vehicle for client site visits to ease travel needs.
