Job summary

A major retail company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Interior Designer for a one-year project-based position. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design and at least 3 years of relevant experience in retail design, preferably for Department Stores or Fashion Boutiques. Responsibilities include managing design projects from concept to completion, researching materials, and conceptualizing designs. This role demands creativity, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Photoshop.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in Interior Designing in a retail commercial background or related field is required.
• Experience in retail design for a Department Store, Mall interior or Fashion Boutique is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch Up, 3D Max and other related design programs.
• Possess creative talent, imagination and an eye for design.
• Able to work under pressure with tight completion schedule deadlines.
• Possess good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and able to work with all levels.
• One-year contract position (project-based position).
