Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Open to fresh graduates with relevant project experience in data engineering or data analysis
• Strong interest in big data engineering and data analytics, or relevant practical experience
• Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience working with large or complex datasets
• Solid understanding of Python for data processing, automation, and backend development
• Familiarity with relational and distributed databases
• Experience or strong interest in building batch or streaming data pipelines for big data
• Experience with big data processing engines like Spark, Flink, or Hive is a plus
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is preferred
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is an advantage
• Business proficiency in Mandarin (Simplified) is required to liaise with internal teams and stakeholders based in Mainland China

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Fresh graduates with relevant technical skills or project exposure
• Junior to mid-level engineers with 1–2 years of experience in data engineering or data analysis
• Passionate about the gaming, advertising, or interactive entertainment industry
• Willing to work in a global, collaborative environment

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain offline and real-time ETL pipelines for the gaming advertising domain, including performance tuning and scalability improvements
• Analyze ad conversion performance and deliver customized/personalized reports and dashboards
• Build and maintain Python-based backend systems for data crawling, web scraping, and data ingestion
• Process large and complex datasets using SQL, HiveQL, and SparkSQL
• Develop data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Build batch or streaming data pipelines to support real-time business analytics
• Collaborate with teams based in China to gather requirements and deliver analytical insights
