We are seeking an experienced and capable Data Centre Operations Manager to lead the operations and maintenance of Eindec’s mobile and modular data centres. This is a management role responsible for supervising the technical team, ensuring reliability, and maintaining operational standards across multiple deployed sites.
You will oversee all aspects of critical infrastructure operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, and service delivery performance, while collaborating with design, engineering, and customer teams to ensure world‑class uptime and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team responsible for mobile data centre sites.
- Ensure continuous uptime and operational reliability of deployed modular DC units (target ≥ 99.98%).
- Oversee operation and maintenance of all M&E systems – power, UPS, generators, HVAC/CRAC/CRAH, and liquid cooling systems.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring zero unplanned downtime.
- Monitor performance metrics such as PUE, load, thermal performance, and energy efficiency.
- Manage vendors, service contractors, and spare part logistics for regional operations.
- Implement and enforce SOPs, EHS standards, and incident response protocols.
- Review and approve maintenance schedules, inspection reports, and operational documentation.
- Support commissioning, deployment, and relocation of modular/mobile data centres across sites.
- Work with engineering and R&D teams to improve design reliability and serviceability of Eindec modules.
- Provide training, supervision, and performance evaluation for O&M team members.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for critical incidents and customer operational issues.
- Report operational KPIs, incidents, and recommendations to senior management regularly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in data centre operations, facilities management, or mission‑critical environments.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing operations or technical staff.
- Strong understanding of power distribution, UPS/generator systems, cooling systems, and DCIM/BMS tools.
- Familiarity with containerized/modular data centres and liquid cooling systems preferred.
- Proven experience maintaining Tier III or higher level facilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting ability in high‑pressure environments.
- Willingness to travel regionally to deployment sites and support new installations.
- Certification in Uptime Institute O&M, Data Centre Facility Management, or safety management is advantageous.
