About the Role

Job Title: Data Analyst, Maritime and Trade, Enterprise Data Organization

Please note that you will be working in EMEA hours (4pm to 1am Malaysia time) and will be eligible for shift allowances.

The Team:

You will be part of the Enterprise Data Organization, composed of 70 colleagues based in Penang and the US within our Maritime Operations cluster. You will provide support on research, validation, and update of Maritime and Trade data.

The Impact:

You will support our expansion on data integration and migration projects by aligning our maritime and trade data sets to a new platform to create more data insight for our institutional clients. This will not only enable exposure to research and analysis of the maritime and trade datasets but also collaboration with the Data Transformation team in our Enterprise Data Organization.

Responsibilities
  • Research and analyze Maritime and Trade-related datasets as applicable to Ships, Companies, Ownerships, Compliances, Sanctions, Ports, Trade & Bill of Lading.
  • Updating and maintaining the data in response to the above.
  • Working closely with in-country/regional experts to validate data.
  • Capture and validate data through our primary and newly acquired sources to transform data into critical information.
