A prominent Malaysian company in Gua Musang seeks a Cost Control & Administrative professional to track budgets and expenditures, prepare reports, and maintain project documentation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2-5 years of experience in cost control or administrative roles. Strong analytical and organizational skills along with proficiency in Microsoft tools are essential. A collaborative approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently is required.
Monitor and track project budgets, expenditures, and cost allocations. Verify supplier invoices, progress claims, and purchase requisitions against project milestones. Prepare monthly cost and expenditure reports for management review.
Assist in tender evaluation, quotation comparison, and cost justification. Support CAPEX and OPEX monitoring, ensuring all spending aligns with approved budgets. Coordinate with Project Team, Procurement, and HQ Finance for report consolidation and audit compliance.
Administrative & Coordination Support Maintain project documentation, filing systems, and records (both physical and digital). Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and following up on action items.
Prepare official letters, internal memos, and presentation slides for progress reporting. Support logistics arrangement for site visits, training sessions, or external consultants. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and local authorities for document submissions or basic correspondence.
Perform any other administrative or coordination duties assigned by the Project Director or Finance Department.
Requirements Qualification & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline. Experience: Minimum 2-5 years in cost control, accounting, or administrative support; experience in project or construction environment preferred. Skills:
Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred. Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
Able to multitask and manage both financial and administrative tasks efficiently. Other Requirements: Willing to travel between Jitra and Gua Musang as required.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet reporting deadlines.
