Job summary

A leading non-profit organization in Malaysia seeks a Corporate Partnership Development professional to drive fundraising growth and strengthen relationships with corporate partners. Job description

This role is responsible for developing and strengthening strategic partnerships with corporations, major donors, and other high-value partners to drive fundraising growth and CSR collaboration for World Vision Malaysia.

The position plays a vital role in identifying opportunities, securing partnerships, and ensuring quality relationship management to advance World Vision’s mission of improving the lives of children and communities in need. The final designation (Assistant Manager or Senior Executive) will depend on the candidate’s level of experience, leadership capability, and performance during the selection process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Corporate Partnership Development
  • Build, manage, and grow strong relationships with corporate donors, foundations, and strategic partners.
  • Identify, research, and engage potential partners with shared values and CSR priorities aligned to World Vision’s work.
  • Develop persuasive partnership proposals, sponsorship decks, and presentations to secure collaboration opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent engagement through impact reporting, appreciation initiatives, and stewardship plans.
  • Support the development and execution of annual fundraising strategies to achieve corporate revenue and engagement targets.
  • Lead or coordinate direct fundraising channels, including Face-to-Face (F2F), Telemarketing, and Roadshows ensuring performance and brand consistency.
  • Manage fundraising events and campaigns, from planning and budgeting to execution and performance evaluation.
  • Work with agencies and vendors to optimize results and ensure high-quality implementation of campaigns and events.
  • Proposal Development & Presentation
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and partnership pitches to potential sponsors or donors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather programme insights and impact stories to strengthen proposals.
  • Represent World Vision Malaysia in CSR-related events, networking sessions, and external meetings to enhance organizational visibility.
  • Relationship Management & Reporting
  • Ensure donor satisfaction through proactive communication, reporting, and recognition.
  • Track partnership outcomes, campaign performance, and donor feedback to guide continuous improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date partner and donor records in CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Digital, Communications, and Programmes to align partnership activities with organizational priorities.
  • Provide input into corporate engagement campaigns and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance fundraising impact.
  • Support junior staff or interns as needed, promoting teamwork and accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in corporate fundraising, sales, business development, or CSR partnership management.
  • Strong experience in proposal development, stakeholder engagement, and campaign execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about social impact.
  • Able to multitask, manage multiple projects, and work both independently and collaboratively.
