Job description
1. Public Relations & Corporate Communications

Develop, implement, and manage PR strategies to enhance corporate visibility and brand reputation.

Draft press releases, speeches, corporate announcements, and external communication materials.

Coordinate media engagements, interviews, and press conferences.

Maintain strong relationships with media, government agencies, and external stakeholders.

Manage crisis communication and act as a key contact point during sensitive issues.

Oversee corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and event coordination.

2. Corporate Affairs & Stakeholder Management

Liaise with government bodies, regulatory agencies, industry associations, and community groups.

Support corporate events, official visits, briefings, and engagement activities.

Prepare reports, briefing notes, and presentation materials for senior management.

Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and issues that may impact the company.

3. Compliance & Governance

Ensure the company complies with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Coordinate statutory submissions, licenses, permits, and renewal compliance deadlines.

Review, update, and implement compliance policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.

Conduct internal compliance checks and risk assessments.

Prepare compliance reports and maintain documentation for audit purposes.

Support internal training related to regulatory and compliance matters.

4. Sustainability (ESG)

Assist in implementing and monitoring the company’s ESG strategy.

Support environmental initiatives, including energy management, waste reduction, and sustainability programs.

Promote social responsibility programs, including community engagement, employee well‑being, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.

Ensure compliance with governance standards, ethical business practices, and regulatory requirements.

Collect, analyze, and report ESG data to management, investors, and stakeholders.

Stay updated on ESG trends, regulations, and best practices.

Collaborate with internal teams to embed ESG practices across all business functions.

5. Administrative & Support Functions

Maintain corporate records, agreements, regulatory documents, and correspondence.

Assist management in ad‑hoc strategic initiatives, communications, and compliance projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Law, or related fields.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate affairs, PR, or compliance (depending on seniority).

Experience in property, construction, or corporate sectors.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.

Familiarity with local regulatory frameworks and government processes.

Excellent stakeholder management, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Able to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.

Crisis communication or compliance certification is an added advantage.
