Responsibilities
  • Act as the POC for all things Owner Quality and Cx for site level support on execution of the Program requirements
  • Manage the Cx Agent (CxA) and ensure that the CxA deliverables are completed on time and correctly
  • Manage the QA team
  • Coordinate the transition from L1-3 to L4-5, advising the GC on equipment delivery sequence to meet requirements
  • Monitor Cx progress and escalation processes, advise on readiness for key project milestones
  • Identify and escalate any deviation from program standards
  • Identify and escalate any risk to the project
  • Provide accurate Cx performance reporting at project and program levels
  • Monitor the delivery of the specific Cx execution plan for the project
  • Review GC/CxA Cx & QA plans
  • Avoidively notify anticipated stakeholders of Cx activities and involve them in key decisions during the Construction phase
  • Attend OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) meetings
  • Attend daily Startup and daily/weekly Cx meetings with GC and CxA to observe progress and direct open issues
  • Attend the weekly GC Quality Meeting
  • Attend site MEP coordination meetings, pull planning meetings, FOK meetings, preparatory meetings, design review meetings and other project coordinator level meetings as required
  • Participate in Cx Issues Log review and direct the CM/GC and subcontractors to resolve issues
  • Report on QCx issues
  • Align GC with expectations for Cx schedule updates
  • Monitor FAT/FWT matrix (to be updated by GC), participate in FAT/FWT meetings and assist CxA with guidance on FWT/IAWT based on QCx program
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field, preferably electrical engineering / project management
  • 10 years of hands-on experience in commissioning and project management
  • Proven track record in overseeing pre-construction phases for large-scale projects
  • Commercial and Technical Acumen: detailed commercial analysis and technical leadership in complex projects
  • Communication Skills: exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for leadership in a dynamic environment
