CLT Engineering Consultancy (M) Sdn Bhd – Nusajaya, Johor

We are seeking a talented Civil and Structure Engineer to join our dynamic team at CLT ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY (M) SDN. BHD. in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for a range of exciting projects.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and other civil infrastructure projects
• Perform design of infrastructure work i.e. earthwork, road works, drainage, sewerage reticulation, water reticulation.
• Liaise with relevant authority for pre-consultation, attend authority meetings, prepare authority submission drawings for authority submission and follow up with approval status.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop comprehensive engineering plans and drawings
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to ensure project compliance and quality standards
• Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, standards, and best practices
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in a consulting or design firm
• Proficient in the use of engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Prota Structure and other relevant design tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Familiarity with local and international building codes, regulations, and standards
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or eligible for registration
• Mandarin speaking is an added advantage
