Senior Project Manager / Deputy General Manager

Location: Glenmarie, Selangor, Malaysia

Our client is a well-established asset intensive energy platform operating in SEA and the Middle East with a diversified portfolio spanning conventional and renewable energy assets. The business owns, operates and manages large scale power generation facilities under long term offtake arrangements and is increasingly focused on energy transition initiatives, operational excellence and sustainable infra development.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the goals, objectives and standards set by the Group are reached.
• Providing technical support and advise in undertaking acquisition or other exercises when required.
• Participate in business development activities, especially for overseas expansionli>
• Oversee overall plant operations and asset management to ensure they are operating optimally and meeting all requirements and regulations as well as power and water purchase agreements.
• Leading team to resolve operational and technical issues across the Group.
• Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective, working closely with the Group CEO as a member of the Management Committee of the Group.
• Strong leadership in people management, HSSE management.
• Strong technical knowledge in the operation and maintenance of power plant including various O&M tools and methodologies, project management and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Experienced in power plant asset maintenance, operation and/or engineering and growing the Renewable Energy sector.
