Job description

Chargeman A4/AO Cum Maintenance Executive

Join the dynamic team at JB Distripark Sdn Bhd as a Chargeman A4/AO Cum Maintenance Executive in our Pasir Gudang Johor facility. In this full‑time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation in a commercial building and maintenance of our industrial equipment and facilities.

Your duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• To manage LV electrical distribution system, standby generators, and carry out the periodic checking and preventive maintenance task on all LV electrical distribution systems.
• Responsible in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical wiring system, air conditioning system, firefighting system as well as other building services.
• Responsible and accountable to carry out duties as to comply with Akta Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Liaise with utilities providers such as TNB, DOSH, JKKP, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, BOMBA and other regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues.
• Lead emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of building system equipment, and close monitoring on building system performance.
• Overall, in charges and lead the maintenance team in repair and maintenance works.
• To perform any other duties as when required by the Management.
• Undertakes any assigned ad‑hoc assignments/projects assigned by Maintenance Manager as and when required.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Chargeman A4/AO certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities management or building operations with knowledge of maintenance and services.
• Familiar with Electricity Supply Act, Electricity Regulations and etc.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of leading and developing maintenance teams.
