A global IT services and managed services provider is seeking an experienced CCTV Technician to support the delivery, installation, and ongoing operation of Access Control and CCTV systems within enterprise and data centre environments.

This role is suited to a hands‑on engineer who can take ownership of projects, lead installations, manage vendors, and ensure high‑quality service delivery across critical infrastructure sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of access control and CCTV projects, including planning, deployment, testing, and handover
  • Manage vendors and coordinate on‑site activities to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
  • Carry out project documentation reviews and audit checks to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Lead the installation, configuration, programming, commissioning, and integration of access control and CCTV systems
  • Ensure seamless integration between security system components and supporting infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases
  • Perform routine maintenance, health checks, and servicing of access control and CCTV systems
  • Respond to service requests and incidents, providing timely and effective technical resolution
  • Implement preventive maintenance measures to minimise downtime and service disruption
  • Work within live data centre environments, adhering to strict security, safety, and operational protocols
  • Ensure all work complies with site policies, procedures, and data centre security requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of installation, service, and maintenance activities
  • Produce clear technical reports and maintain internal documentation
Required Experience and Skills
  • Technical diploma or relevant certification in electronics, information technology, or a related field
  • Five to ten years of relevant experience in access control and CCTV systems
  • Proven experience as a senior technician, lead technician, or service engineer within physical security environments
  • Strong hands‑on expertise in installing, configuring, programming, commissioning, and servicing ACS and CCTV systems
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure, networking concepts, and data communications
  • Experience working in enterprise or data centre environments is highly desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities
