A car park management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Car Park Assistant/Supervisor to ensure proper functioning of parking facilities and deliver excellent customer service. Responsibilities include supervising equipment inspections, managing payment collections, and maintaining cleanliness. Ideal candidates should possess fluent Bahasa Melayu and English, as well as basic IT skills. This role requires teamwork and the ability to work shifts including on Public Holidays.
To ensure all car park equipment are functioning well.
Provide excellent service to customers.
To report to car park office as per duty roster, thumb print and scan card at 2nd floor management office.
To check ingress and egress TnG readers and all gate barriers are working well, and report to supervisor/manager immediately if there is any malfunction.
To assist on collect payment from customers.
To ensure receipt is given to customer once payment is made.
To collect lost card payment and issue receipt accordingly.
To ensure sufficient consumables such as audit rolls, ribbons, and stationaries are available for usage at all times.
To ensure work station/office is clean and tidy at all times.
To assist in relieving Supervisor/Admin/Finance Assistant as and when required.
To patrol car park on a regular basis and prepare daily car park check list and report to Supervisor on any incident immediately.
To ensure parking areas are well lighted, report to maintenance department if lightings are not working.
To execute any other job responsibilities as and when required by the superior or any other persons designated by the Company.
Preferably with 1 year experience (However, fresh school leavers can be accepted.)
Ability to speak fluent Bahasa Melayu and English Language.
Ability to handle customer’s enquiries politely and effectively.
Able to work in shift and/or on Public Holiday.
Basic knowledge in IT, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
To report to car park office as per duty roster, thumb print and scan card at car park management office.
To check and inspect all car park equipment, cctv, lightings are functioning smoothly and check on all signages are in order.
To conduct minor service on all entrances, exits equipment and coordinate with equipment service provider.
To prepare overtime record on timely basis and forwards to Car Park Executive / Manager for approval.
To check and ensure date and time for all entrances, exits are synchronised.
To brief Car Park Executive / Manager on car park issues every morning, if any, and record in Log Book daily on car park issues.
To patrol car park regularly, check and verify daily car park checklist and follow up on any outstanding issues.
To assist in relieving Car Park Assistant / Admin Assistant as and when required.
To assist Admin Assistant on payment collection and programming of access cards.
To prepare Duty Roster by 26th of the month and forward to Car Park Executive / Manager for approval.
To check and monitor staff performance and highlight to Car Park Manager if there are any disciplinary issues.
To conduct car park inspection as per car park, check list on daily basis and carry out clamping if required, with security.
To follow up with maintenance staff on any repairs, if there are any, and ensure repair works are completed satisfactorily.
To execute any other job responsibilities as and when required by the superior or any other persons designated by the Company.
To coordinate and work closely with hotel management, maintenance, cleaning services and security department and resolve issues pertaining to car park operations.
Ability to speak fluent Bahasa Melayu and English Language.
Ability to handle customer’s enquiries politely and effectively.
Ability to work as team harmoniously and diligently.
Excellent knowledge in Information Technology, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Able to work in shift and/or on Public Holiday.
