Job description

Aeronas Aerocraft Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMO Technical Engineer to join our team based in Senai, Johor. We are looking for a mid-level engineer to support the development of a new aircraft program. This role focuses on drafting aircraft manuals, configuration control, and airworthiness foundations during the prototype and early manufacturing phases, prior to certification.

The engineer will work closely with internal engineering teams, manufacturing staff, and embedded FAA and US DOA engineers, to apply internationally accepted practices early in the development process.

What you'll be doing
  • Develop draft aircraft manuals (AMM, ICA, procedures) during design and prototype stages
  • Establish and maintain configuration management and change control for prototype/test aircraft
  • Support aircraft design reviews with airworthiness input
  • Collaborate with FAA and DOA engineers to adopt best practices
  • Prepare processes and records to be certification-ready
  • Assist in internal training on configuration discipline and manual usage
What we're looking for
  • Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related engineering field
  • 3–7 years experience in aircraft development, continuing airworthiness, or certification support
  • Experience with aircraft manuals, ICAs, and configuration management
  • Familiarity with FAA Part 21 / Part 23 principles preferred
  • Good technical writing and cross-functional communication skills

Note: This is a development-phase, non-certifying role. Operational CAMO responsibilities will be introduced after certification milestones.
