Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled civil engineer to join our team at PLYTEC. As a civil engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects. Your expertise and innovative thinking will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• undertaking design calculations
• undertaking technical and feasibility studies on temporary work solution
• using computer software for developing detailed designs
• liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and contractors
• undertaking development of standard design calculations and drawings

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree in Civil/ Structural /Mechanical Engineering;
• 0-2 years working experience in temporary works or steel structural design; fresh graduate is encouraged to apply as well;
• Experience in engineering analysis software, including TEKLA Structures Designer, STAAD PRO, TEDDS, etc.;
• Knowledge of building/ structural design codes, namely Eurocodes, British Standards & Uniform Building Code, is a must;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM software will be an advantage;
• Experience in high-rise building design will be an advantage;
• Good interpersonal and communication skill, highly committed and responsible and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
