Job summary

A leading property management firm in Selangor seeks a Building Services Technician to manage electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning works. You will conduct daily inspections, supervise contractors, and handle maintenance requests. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in building services and is willing to work shifts. Relevant certifications are preferred. This role offers an opportunity to ensure the operational efficiency of the building and enhance safety for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in building services maintenance & troubleshooting.
• Possessing A4 Chargeman certification is an advantage.
• Willing to work in shifts: 7.30am - 4.00pm OR 2.30pm - 11.00pm.

Responsibilities

Job description

Attending to all electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing works and others.

To ensure operational efficiency of the building.

To conduct daily site inspections of the premises including infrastructure, amenities etc. with a view of safety of proprietors and/or its residents.

To attend occupants/tenants' complain.

To supervise service providers/contractors to ensure adherence to work scope.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.

Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Assist with building renovations and upgrades as neededp>

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification or Certificate in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) preferred.
• Willing to work in shifts: 7.30am - 4.00pm OR 2.30pm - 11.00pm. (Time will be adjusted based on building location).
• 6 working days per week.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in building services maintenance & troubleshooting.
• Possessing A4 Chargeman certification or familiar with ServeDeck software will be an added advantage.
