A leading insurance provider located in Miri, Malaysia, is seeking a candidate to assist in branch operations. Responsibilities include aiding in daily tasks, providing customer service, managing claims, and handling financial transactions. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and up to 2 years of experience in branch operations. This position involves direct interaction with customers and support for junior staff.

To assist the Branch OIC in performing required & assigned daily branch operation tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
Maintain branch operations and daily procedures for each department's tasks as outlined below.
Participate & engage in daily tasks to meet service goals and objectives.
Provide assistance and support to junior staff/agents.
Summary:
Attend to walk-in/call-in customer & agent inquiries regarding policy matters.
Perform data alterations up to confer authority and maintain transaction records.
Follow up on outstanding requirements.
Claims:
Check completeness of claim forms/documents for all claim types, update client details & bank account numbers, and record, follow up, and monitor claim status.
New Business:
Screen proposal submissions and back-up data entry capturing.
Finance:
Act as "chief cashier" to ensure daily tally of premium collections, day-end collections, recording, report scanning, and handle all finance-related matters.
General Admin:
Maintain records, report defects of office assets/equipment/furniture, and update reports or daily/monthly templates.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in any field.
0-2 years of working experience in branch operations or related field.
Position based in Miri.
