A leading asset management company is seeking a Boiler Operator in Penang, Malaysia. The role requires responsibility for the daily operation and maintenance of boiler systems, ensuring safety and efficiency. Candidates must possess a High School Certificate, relevant experience, and a Boilerman Certificate issued by DOSH. Qualifications

• High School Certificate.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a related field.
• Certificate in Boilerman Grade 1 or Grade 2 issued by DOSH.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the boiler and its equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities and log data.
• Prepare the boiler for inspection by DOSH/DOE.
• Schedule and conduct housekeeping of the boiler room.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and assist maintenance team.
• Comply with HSSE practices and regulations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day operation and handling of the boiler and its equipment’s. Ensure boiler is operated in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities. Recorded all data in log sheet and key in ASIS EOD module
• Prepare of boiler for inspection by DOSH/DOE.
• Schedule and conduct housekeeping of the boiler room and equipment.
• Perform trouble shoot during breakdown and carry out or assist maintenance team during rectification work
• Comply with HSSE practise and procedures in accordance to Act and Regulations and company target

Job Requirements

• High School Certificate
• At least 3 Year(s)of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Certificate in Boilerman Grade 1 or Grade 2 issued by DOSH
