Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks an Engineering Technical Personnel to support various engineering and production processes in automotive parts manufacturing. The role includes setting up machinery, tooling, and validating processes to maintain production efficiency. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a good command of English are essential, with knowledge of Mandarin as an advantage.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or precision metal forming industry.
• Strong understanding of cold heading, threading, heat treatment, and secondary processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up machines, tooling, and production parameters.
• Support engineers in trial runs and process validation.
• Troubleshoot process or tooling issues and propose adjustments.
• Coordinate with Tool Room on tooling availability and conditions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documents such as SOPs and Control Plans.
