Job summary

A reputable audit firm is seeking an auditor in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves performing audits according to established plans, evaluating internal controls, and presenting findings. Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, with a minimum of 1 year of experience or be fresh graduates. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Transport is required, and the position is based in Bukit Jalil.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Performs the audit in accordance with approved audit plan and programmes.
• Performs audit, test compliance with policies and procedures, evaluates systems of internal control, the adequacy of accounting records.
• Ensure completion of audit assignments within deadline as stipulated in approved Audit Work Order.
• Update audit programs and working papers.
• Presents findings and recommendations concerning activities audited to the auditee and Audit Manager.
• To follow up on issues raises from the previous audit report.
• Indexing and filling audit working papers accordingly for safekeeping and future reference.
• Performs other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate / Graduate Diploma / Bachelor\'s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
• Those without qualification but with extensive experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal & communication skill.
• Candidate should possess initiative and be able to work independently
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Proficient in both written and spoken English, for candidate able to speak in Mandarin is an advantage.
