A prominent hospitality firm in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Coordinator to manage hotel promotions and foster relationships with travel agents and corporate clients. The role involves supervising banquet operations, addressing inquiries, and promoting group properties. Reported to Asst. Director of sales & Director of Sales
Work closely with other Director of Sales to ensure cooperation of hotel promotions and packages.
Works within the established marketing plan by assignment from the Director of Sales.
To call upon all Travel Agents and Airlines, Corporate companies, Government, Semi- Government and Embassies, which has been agreed and allocated to you for coverage.
Works within established sales accounts on existing and potential clients and solicits new and repeat business from these accounts through a trace system as defined in the Standard Operating Procedures and as directed by the Director of Sales.
To assist the function organizers on any last minute request.
Supervises Banquet, Front Office and Bell Services in the operation of banquets.
Advises on special promotions or plans for improving sales and service for banquet and convention sales.
Handle enquiries, ensure prompt follow-up and provide daily reports on the number of calls. Ensure bookings and reservations of rooms and meeting room are in order.
Promoting special events and Cross Selling within the group hotel properties.
Monitors and reports all expenditures made in relation to Sales and Marketing activities according to hotel policy.
Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and employers.
