Job summary

Job description
  1. Assistant operation superintendent requires to report to Senior Manager for all operational issues and requirement.
  2. To ensure all vessel within company fleets are operated in accordance with good marine practice in compliance with company, statutory and client’s procedures and rules, and in accordance with all local and international requirement and regulations.
  3. To Ensure and supervise all company own vessels and fleets are operated in a safe, efficient and economical manner and in full compliance with class, statutory and client requirements.
  4. Responsible to liaise with the vessel Masters, Officers; with references to vessel certifications, Safety equipment, Loose consumable item eg Publications, LSA/FFA inventory status, Charts, etc complying to vessel plying limits and client requirements.
  5. Responsible to liaise with Procurement Department to ensure timely delivery of materials supplies, Purchase requisition is being tracked and expedited by Procurement in a timely manner.
  6. To ensure all mandatory procedures as per company operation manual are used effectively and filled.
  7. To prepare and update vessel specification and Vessel certification status for Senior Manager and General Manager review and update.
  8. To ensure all company vessels to carry the required publications, operational manuals and documentations required by Flag state, statutory regulations and are updated as required.
  9. To liaise with Master to ensure all fleet navigational equipment is in fully operational state of readiness at all times.
  10. Responsible to adhere any task assigned by Senior Manager and General Manager within his responsibility and deem required by the company.
