Job summary

A healthcare organization in Johor Bahru seeks an Assistant Manager/Senior Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting tasks, including AP and AR, and assist in month-end closings and financial report preparations. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Accounting or related fields and at least 3 years of experience in accounting. Proficiency in accounting software and strong attention to detail are essential. The role also involves supporting HR functions like employee records and attendance management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting.
  • Experience in Singapore accounting (GST, reporting, or payroll exposure) is an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and data entry.
  • Assist in month-end closing tasks and preparation of financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
  • Process staff claims, supplier invoices, and payments.
  • Assist with SST submissions, audit schedules, and liaise with auditors or tax agents.
  • Support intercompany billing and simple reconciliations if required.
  • Assist HR in maintaining employee records, attendance, and leave management.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.

Process staff claims, supplier invoices, and payments.

Assist with SST submissions, audit schedules, and liaison with external auditors or tax agents.

Support intercompany billing and simple reconciliations if required.

Assist HR in maintaining employee records, attendance, and leave management.

Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes.

Provide general administrative support to HR and management when required.

Undertake any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting.

Experience in Singapore accounting (GST, reporting, or payroll exposure) is an added advantage.

Basic understanding of HR processes will be beneficial (training provided).

Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Strong attention to detail, good time management, and ability to multi-task.

Good communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
