We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant Manager, Regional People Partner(Northern). This role is responsible for managing day-to-day people operations and administrative activities, ensuring effective workforce support, policy compliance, and smooth project operations in a dynamic, project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end HR operations, including employee records, onboarding, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and Industrial Relations cases.
  • Support training, performance management, employee engagement, and welfare initiatives.
  • Oversee office administration, facilities management, and general project support operations.
  • Manage vendors and service providers to ensure service quality, safety standards, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor operational expenditure (OPEX) and support budget control and cost management activities.
  • Prepare HR and administrative reports, ensuring compliance with MRT Corp policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification from a recognised institution.
  • CGPA of ≥ 3.00 or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in human resources, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills, with good command of English.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Hands‑on, well‑organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
