Job Description:

Supply Chain & Production Planning (Core Responsibility)
  • Ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery of customer orders by managing end-to-end supply chain operations across refineries, palm/kernel fractionation, hydrogenation, and inter-esterification plants.
  • Develop and execute short-term and medium-term production schedules (S&OE) that optimize line efficiency, minimize changeovers, and balance demand with available capacity.
  • Monitor and manage real-time inventory levels of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to prevent stockouts or overstocking, coordinating with procurement and logistics for timely replenishment.
  • Act as the key liaison between commercial, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless flow of materials and products to customers.
Demand & Supply Planning
  • Lead monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, consolidating input from commercial, operations, and finance to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities.
  • Conduct forecasting and scenario planning (short- and long-term) to anticipate demand fluctuations and production capacity constraints.
  • Recommend adjustments to operational purchase plans, stock balances, and safety stock policies to optimize working capital while meeting service-level targets.
Strategic & Financial Planning
  • Support annual business planning and budgeting, including product costing, capacity allocation, and investment planning.
  • Prepare and consolidate financial metrics and supply planning KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory ageing, capacity utilization, OTIF performance) on a monthly and yearly basis.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning for plant utilization, product portfolio optimization, and expansion or improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate daily with operations, QC, logistics, and commercial teams to troubleshoot bottlenecks and ensure smooth delivery to customers.
  • Act as the key link between HQ sales teams and plant operations, ensuring alignment of customer requirements with production schedules.
  • Facilitate weekly and monthly stakeholder meetings to communicate supply chain performance, risks, and corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supply reliability
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, operations management, or related field
  • Preferably with at least 5-7 years of relevant working experience in refinery operations industry
  • Preferably at least an intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)

Good understanding of HACCP procedures, Good Manufacturing Process (GMP), margarine and fats texturization.

Experience in the packing of foods products and exposure to HACCP issues is essential.

Knowledge in Food Technology or Foods Science
