A logistics and compliance company in Gelang Patah is seeking a Compliance Officer to support the establishment and enhancement of integrity and compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in port logistics. Key responsibilities include overseeing compliance activities, supporting governance initiatives, and maintaining compliance documentation. Strong communication skills in both Bahasa and English are essential, along with a commitment to ethical standards and continuous improvement.
Support the Head of Section in establishing, enhancing and implementing PTPs integrity,governance and compliance framework. The role works closely with the internal leaders andexternal compliance stakeholders to strengthen compliance structures, promote ethical conductand ensure business processes remained aligned with applicable laws, regulations and PTPs objectives.
1. Assist in planning, coordination and overseeing compliance related activities to ensurealignment with business objectives and compliance with applicable local and international laws,regulations and guidelines.
2. Support the planning and execution of IGC initiatives in line with business and regulatoryrequirements.
3. Identifying risk and propose practical mitigation strategies.
4. Review processes to highlight gaps or areas requiring improvement.
5. Prepare regular reporting to management of initiative progress, including identification of focusareas and implementation processes.
6. Assist in the development, drafting, formatting, and formal review of all internal policies,guidelines and procedures
7. Maintain and update a central repository or database for all approved organizational policiesand guidelines.
8. To develop and support the company initiatives to promote a culture of integrity andcompliance.
9. Undertake ad hoc tasks and assignments as and when required by Management.
1. Bachelors degree in Law, Business, Governance, Compliance, Risk Management or relevantfield.
2. Having additional qualification in integrity, governance, compliance, audit or risk managementis preferred.
3. Knowledge of governance frameworks, compliance requirements, regulatory landscapes andintegrity standards will be an advantage.
4. Good Microsoft skills and ability to use digital design or presentation tools as needed to developclear and engaging materials.
5. Good command of Bahasa and English with strong writing and documentation skills.
