Assistant Director of Nursing, OT/CSSD/Endoscopy

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Hospital Picaso in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position and will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth operations of our departments in Operating Theatre, Central Sterile Services Department, and Endoscopy unit.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide leadership and direction to the nursing teams across the OT, CSSD, and Endoscopy departments
  • Ensure exceptional standards of patient care, safety, and infection control are maintained
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Manage staff scheduling, rostering, and performance reviews
  • Collaborate with the medical team to coordinate patient flow and optimise operating theatre efficiency
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff
  • Represent the relevant nursing departments in multidisciplinary meetings and committees
What we're looking for
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior nursing management role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Post Basic in a Peri-Operative is a must
  • Strong clinical expertise, particularly in perioperative nursing, sterile processing, and endoscopy
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in using relevant healthcare information systems and technologies
